FESTIVAL TOUQUETHER
Concept
& context
2 years after a successful preview, the Touquether Festival, co-founded with and for the Autisme Info Service association as part of Magic Garden's CSR and sponsorship commitments, is back at Le Touquet-Paris-Plage. Ever more ambitious, this weekend of festivities in aid of autism, with all profits donated to the cause, has taken a wide view, with an eclectic, multicultural program.
The programme includes :
- a series of concerts featuring established artists and emerging talents from the French scene, including La Femme, Aime Simone, Zaho de Sagazan, Laura Cahen, etc.
- stand-up sessions with Gérémy Crédeville, Marine Baousson and the Joke Comedy Club troupe
- inspirational talks on autism with Thomas Bourgeron, Caroline Delage, Tim Nicholls...
- an outdoor discovery stage featuring young talent from the region
As a festival of solidarity and inclusion, Touquether also invited autistic artists such as Percujam and Love In Prague to perform on stage, as well as autistic comedian Florence Mendez. A solidarity village was also set up in the Palais gardens, with associations defending the cause and the festival's committed partners, to exchange, share, learn and support.
