In 2016, to herald the much-anticipated sequel to the Gears of War 4 saga, Microsoft orchestrated a press event designed to plunge journalists and bloggers into the heart of the game’s post-apocalyptic universe.

The agency transformed a former industrial facility into a living tableau of the game’s gritty, dystopian world, creating a fully immersive experience that echoed the game’s dramatic essence.

To elevate the connection with the game further, we enlisted the renowned chef Yves Camdeborde, who crafted a culinary adventure titled "The Taste of Apocalypse." Guests were not only treated to an immersive day filled with gaming experiences but also participated in a unique gastronomic journey. Yves Camdeborde guided them through the preparation of his exclusive recipe, allowing them to savor dishes inspired by the game’s narrative. By the end of the day, attendees left with not just memories, but also the recipe for "The Taste of Apocalypse" in their hands.
