RUGBY WORLD CUP

Concept
& context

Magic Garden partnered with Société Générale from 2006 to 2008 to handle their overall external communication strategy and the activation of their Rugby World Cup sponsorship : 

  • One year before the World Cup, we kicked off the campaign with a  vertical rugby match on the façade of the bank headquarters, followed by a press conference in the Salle des Coffres the a national treasure hunt for tickets in the 10 host cities throughout France
  • a massive street marketing campaign in 50 French cities.
     

The Société Générale towers at Paris La Défense were transformed into giant rugby goalposts. Additionally, we launched a House Club House tour combining sports and music for 18-25-year-olds. 

We created the largest "Ola du Coeur" in public squares, around stadiums, and at rugby events. We created a  dedicated web platform for the World Cup  with exclusive daily updates & contents. 
Finally, we engaged their agencies network with the campaign
