STREET AT THE GRAND PALAIS

Concept
& context

For three unforgettable days, the Grand Palais was transformed into a vibrant canvas for urban culture, where the very essence of the streets came alive. The scenography unfolded like a city street weaving through the Grand Palais, complete with ramps, arenas, and pitches. Visitors immersed themselves in a dynamic array of activities: skating, rollerblading, BMX, street soccer, basketball, double dutch, capoeira, and martial arts.

A dedicated arena became the heartbeat of the event, pulsing with dance classes, electrifying performances, and fierce battles.

2 concert evenings brought together 20 hip-hop artists and world music, in collaboration with Radio Nova and Générations. The main stage also hosted slam and stand-up performances. 6 canvases spanning nearly 500m2 were painted live by the best French graffiti artists.

The event’s success was echoed far and wide, sparking significant media attention with 28 television reports, 46 alerts, 15 radio features, 35 alerts, 28 articles in daily press, and 7 in periodicals. This success delighted urban culture aficionados.
